Welcome to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Mu Omega Omega Chapter located in Aurora, Colorado.  The Mu Omega Omega Chapter was chartered on December 15, 1979 by 22 extraordinary women.  Mu Omega Omega will celebrate 40 years of service this year.  The women of Mu Omega Omega are highly educated, service oriented and community pillars within Aurora, Denver and surrounding cities.  Always taking time to cultivate our communities; Mu Omega Omega strives to continue to be a “Service to All Mankind”!

Mu Omega Omega has implemented several signature programs and events.  Our Pink on the Greens event and the Ivy Scholarship Gala, help Mu Omega Omega to raise funds for community Scholarships and Grants.  While our Ivy Leadership Academy, teaches 6th – 8th grade girls self-esteem, volunteerism, and the importance of scholastic achievement.  The purpose of our Pink Friday event is to raise funds for the Ivy Leadership Academy. 

Mu Omega Omega is a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated 111 year legacy.  Alpha  Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was founded at Howard University on January 15th, 1908.  Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service is the International Program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  Mu Omega Omega has implemented activities that coincide with the International Program Targets under HBCU for Life: A Call to Action, Women’s Healthcare and Wellness, Building Your Economic Legacy, The Arts, Global Impact and the signature program #CAPSM, College Admissions Process.  Some of the past Mu Omega Omega programs include playground renovation, participating in National Alliance on Mental Illness activities, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walks, hosting spring fitness expos, and donating food to shelters.  In addition, Mu Omega Omega also gathers seasonal coats for women’s shelters and backpacks for grade school children.
