The Aurora Chapter

I am honored that you have shown interest in the Aurora Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In our over 30 years of service to Metro Denver and Colorado, our members have been committed to the betterment of our communities.  

The Aurora Chapter has partnered with many organizations focusing on topics such topics as Health, Social Justice and Human Rights initiatives. We are also proud to work with Heifer International and other partnerships on a national level.  Our signature program will be the Ivy Leadership Academy,  a program that focuses on supporting the growth and development of young girls in grades 6, 7 and 8. It will take a new and evolving definition of partnership to reach out across traditional boundaries to service the needs that affect everyone. Our partnerships range from small entrepreneurial service groups to long-standing community pillars.  

Our communities continue to struggle for recovery.  I believe our job is to continue to instill people with hope and allow dreams to be realized.   By reaching out, we will hope that you will join us in that effort.
