Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated – The Aurora Chapter celebrates and honors young ladies at the 2010 Miss Fashionetta Pageant

Aurora, CO — The Aurora Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated presents the 2010 Miss Fashionetta Pageant.  The Miss Fashionetta program is designed to celebrate and honor young ladies ranging in age from 6-8 (Little Miss Fashionetta) and 9–11. (Miss Fashionetta). 

Our goal is to help participants to develop strong values, leadership skills, social graces, and conviction about their own personal potential and self-worth.  To meet our goal, we have designed a six (6) month experience for participants who will be afforded the opportunity to participate in activities in the areas of community service, arts and culture, education, health, leadership, and personal development. The program will wrap up with a pageant and a crowing of Little Miss Fashionetta and Miss Fashionetta.   

Our 2010 pageant will be held on Sunday June 13^th at 1:00pm at the Shadow Theatre located on 1468 Dayton Street Aurora, CO 80010.  Tickets are on sale for $30 and can be purchased from any member of the Aurora Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha.  For more information please visit our website at www.akamuomegaomega.org or send an email to missfashionetta2010@gmail.com.
