SIGNATURE CHAPTER PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

In addition to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s® International Programs, the Mu Omega Omega Chapter proudly leads a collection of signature initiatives designed to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. These programs focus on developing the next generation of leaders, supporting the well-being and advancement of youth, addressing emerging community challenges, and empowering women to thrive at every stage of life. Created through intentional partnerships and a deep understanding of local priorities, our signature programs extend our commitment to service beyond the Sorority’s global initiatives. These trusted programs build opportunity, strengthen communities, and create lasting impact.

    • The Ivy Leadership Academy is a signature program of the Mu Omega Omega Chapter, designed to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders by providing tools, mentorship, and lasting support. ILA welcomes families and young African American girls in 6th-8th grade who live in or attend school in Aurora, CO, and the surrounding areas, and who are ready to grow, lead, and soar. This dynamic program creates a safe, supportive space for young girls to build confidence, discover their voices, and develop the skills to prepare them for leadership in school and the community. Monthly workshops enable participants to explore educational enrichment topics, address unique social challenges, and expand personal development opportunities for young girls.

Through outreach and education, we work to strengthen participation in the democratic process..
